Snapfish prices are so low - how is the quality?
Because we know that your photos are important to you, we have partnered with the world's largest mail-order processor of professionally developed prints to bring you the highest quality prints at the best prices. At the same time, we also offer the best value in film and digital photography. Because we don't have retail locations, our costs are much lower than those of your local processor. Additionally, because it's so easy to order prints, enlargements, and other photo merchandise from our service, we're able to earn more revenue than other retailers after your film's been developed.
What kind of paper does Snapfish use for prints?
Snapfish uses top quality HP paper.
Do you charge for online photo storage?
No, we do not charge. Snapfish offers free, unlimited storage of your online photos, whether they come from film you develop with us or from digital photos that you upload to your account. There is no limit to the number of rolls you can send in nor is there a limit to the number of digital photos you can upload. You can have an unlimited number of albums and photos in your account. more info on online photo storage
How do your prices compare to other photo services?
Snapfish offers the best value of any retailer, whether you're developing film or getting prints from your digital camera photos. For $4.98 (that's $2.99 plus $1.99 shipping and handling), we'll develop your film, provide a full set of high-quality prints and put your photos online for easy sharing with family and friends. Compare that to the $7-$8 you'd typically spend to get your film developed at a drugstore (without the online benefits) or the $20+ you could spend for developing and a full set of prints from another online photo service. 4x6" prints from your digital camera are 9¢ everyday or as low as 8¢ with our pre-paid plans!
How can I find out if I've used up my first free roll?
Visit your homepage on Snapfish by clicking the 'home' tab at the top of any page. Your Snapfish credits are listed under the 'your account' area. If there's no listing for free film developing, that means that you've already used your free roll or that it has expired (your developing credit expires after 90 days).
Why does my Snapfish film mailer or order form have different prices than what's on this page?
Since launching in April 2000, Snapfish has changed its prices. You may have an older film mailer that doesn't reflect these changes. You can still use the old mailer to send in your film, but please be aware that you will be charged the current prices for film developing and other extras or merchandise. Current pricing can always be found on this pricing page.
